Now recruiting Community Climate Ambassadors for a leadership training program. Apply for this program if you want to learn about how your neighborhood can be greener, healthier, safer, and more comfortable in changing weather and climate conditions, and if you are interested in teaching others. If you’re selected for this program, you will learn about the technical aspects of weather and climate in a fun and informative way. You’ll learn about what you and your neighbors can do to reduce the risk of flooding, improve the quality of neighborhood green spaces, reduce your energy bills, and help your neighbors in the event of a heat wave. Each leader will be compensated for their efforts in the amount of $500. (Stipend will be paid upon completion of the program.)
